I just finished 8th grade at Ni River and I have to say the school is not as good as it seems. I was one of the many white students at this school and it was very noticeable that students of color were targeted by teachers and administration. I would notice that many white students would yell and disrupt class all the time and get little to no punishment. But students of color would whisper to a friend or make a funny face and get way harsher punishments. The school also deals with bullying terribly. The school really needs to work on these issues.
