Calaveras Hills H.S. (Cal Hills) is a school for student behind in their high school credits. It received an API of 714 for 2008. This was one of the highest API for the state of California.
Cal Hills has won many championships against rivals Alta Vista and Robertson High Schools. Coach David Jenkins' softball team had an undefeated 2009 season.
Edward Tico head the Resource Program. This program may be the best in the state for helping Special Education students.
Ms. Katie Martinez (pricipal) and Dr. Karl Black provide leadership to help students achieve their goals.
